Generate Jamb Profile Code:
- Send a text (SMS) with the format “NIN 12345678901” (replace “12345678901” with your NIN) to 55019 or 66019 from your personal GSM number.
- You will receive a profile code of ten characters on the same telephone number used for the text message.
Obtain National Identification Number (NIN):
- Ensure you have your NIN ready, as it is a prerequisite for UTME/DE registration.

- The phone number used for generating the profile code is automatically tied to your name and will be used for all communications from JAMB.
UTME Preparation:
- Start your preparation early by downloading the JAMB CBT Mobile app and JAMB CBT software.
- The app provides instant notifications for important updates from JAMB and aids in UTME preparations.
Avoid Henna Application:
- Heed the warning on the use of henna, also called “Laali” / “Lale,” to avoid biometric verification challenges.
- The application of henna on fingers can obstruct the biometric verification process, leading to difficulties in authentication.
